Maine Geographic Alliance is offering an ArcGIS Online Institute at the University of Maine, Farmington
July 14, 15 and 16, 2015
ArcGIS Online is the premier online mapping tool that helps teachers and students examine local and global landscapes and understand spatial patterns and relationships. During this 3-day institute, you will quickly become comfortable with this free, powerful online mapping tool utilizing only a web browser on your Mac, PC or tablet.
This is a hands-on workshop that offers practice and inspiration using ArcGIS Online to create Story Maps and collect field data. You will learn how to construct a place-based, inquiry project using your community data. Attendees will learn how to create, save, and share Story Maps and how to manage their organization account. We will provide a step-by-step guide for practice at home and school.
All workshop activities and take away lessons are linked to C3, Common Core and NGS Geography for Life2.
Don’t miss this powerhouse event of the year!
